Seeds of Siberian Larch (Larix Sibírica) - 40 pack
Seeds of Siberian Larch (Larix Sibírica)
Package with 40 seeds of Siberian Larch, fresh just picked ready to sow.
Like all species of larch, it is one of the few conifers that lose their leaves (needles) in winter. Previously, in autumn they acquire a beautiful golden color and in spring the plumes of new bright green needles appear.
Larch trees are large, fast-growing forest trees. In the Asian mountains and plains there are also other species of larch that hybridize with the mentioned species, forming new varieties and subspecies.
It is a medium-sized to large deciduous coniferous tree, 20-40 m tall, and a trunk 1 m in diameter. The crown is conical when young, widening with age; the main branches are at the level of the top of the trunk, and the minor branches are pendulous.
Due to its resistance to rot, its wood is especially valuable for posts, pulleys, sleepers, and mine structures.
